Nine Inch Nails com três concertos em Portugal

Os Nine Inch Nails dão três concertos em Lisboa, em Fevereiro do próximo ano. Segundo o site oficial do grupo, os espectáculos têm lugar no Coliseu dos Recreios, de 10 a 12 de Fevereiro.

As actuações, cujos bilhetes ainda não estão à venda, são as primeiras datas europeias da tournée de 2007 dos Nine Inch Nails.

"With Teeth" (2005) é o último disco editado pela banda de Trent Reznor e sucede a "The Fragile" (1999). O registo deverá servir de mote para os concertos do Coliseu dos Recreios.

Keane's Chaplin reveals shock news: drink and drugs are everywhere!

Keane singer Tom Chaplin has been speaking to Radio 1 about his recent spell in The Priory, where he battled to overcome his drink and drug addictions.

Chaplin spoke to the radio station ahead of the band's show in Hull on Tuesday night. He described entering rehab as "walking to the edge of a cliff and looking into the abyss”, and continued: "you can either jump off or turn round and walk back. Thankfully for me it was the latter.”

In an amazing revelation, Chaplin commented: “Drugs and drink and all those things are something that are everywhere now.”

Oooh Eeem Geee? Chaplin said that he had to be aware of these temptations in the future. Good Chaplin, tea and crumpets for you, post-gig, from now on.

Seriously, though: drink and drugs are bad. Like, really. And don't go giving me that Bill Hicks spiel, 'cause he dead.

Bunky - Born to Be a Motorcycle

Autêntica trip esquizóide pelos lados mais refundidos da pop, "Born to Be a Motorcycle", dos Bunky, surpreendeu-me pela positiva. É difícil de encaixar, logo à primeira, mas depois de se estranhar, entranha-se. O álbum é já de 2005, mas só agora chegou aos ouvidos do Requiem.
Pontos altos em 'Boy, Girl', 'Funny Like the Moon' ou 'Glass of Water'.

Juliette and the Licks Rock Part II

No dia de ontem referi aqui a nova desbunda que ocupa todos os leitores que tenho à mão. "Four on the Floor", o novo disco de Juliette Lewis e dos seus Licks continua a surpreender-me a cada passagem. E a surpresa advém dessa circunstância, o facto de descobrir algo novo em cada faixa à medida que as horas vão passando e o disco não descola.
Entretanto, para quem tem dinheiro, Juliette Lewis vai andar a desbundar-se por palcos europeus ao longo das próximas semanas. As datas seguem em baixo, mas para quem quiser um update mais constante, é só ir à página do MySpace/Juliette and the Licks.

Mastodon: primeiro o mundo, agora o Conan

NEWS:

After receiving a Best New Music delegation for their supremely heavy new album Blood Mountain, Mastodon are ready to take on the world, or at least the Europe. Come November, Mastodon will head to the Continent for a trek opening for Tool. It ends December 16 at Athens' Olympic Fencing Hall.

Death to false metal... by fencing!

Before the European tour kicks off, Mastodon have a few dates scheduled in the U.S. and Japan, including a show tonight in Dallas. And on November 1, the band will appear on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien". It will be their first appearance on national television. *

Foo Fighters' new LP confirmed as live acoustic effort
Artists: Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters fans with a penchant for the rock had best look away now: the band have confirmed that their next album, Skin And Bones will be a live and acoustic affair.

The fifteen-track effort is to be released on November 7, as previously reported. Its songs were recorded over three nights at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. A DVD version of the album is to follow later in November.
